Other things happening this term are- Year 6 graduation, end of year trip to the Upper Hutt pools, Solway Family Fancy Dress disco and the end of year prize giving. This week liz warren a florist from heaven scent came to
our school to teach us on how to make creative thing using flowers.
We are prepearing for the big flower day on friday 5th november.
Today we went down to the

Hello I am Jasmine again.

This week we are having a flower day. We're having it on Friday 5th November. A flower day is when you make at least three diferent things. They are:


Vegetable Creation-You get some vegetables and some picks. You basicly use the vegetables and the picks to make something. You can make whatever you like, as along as you have the stuff to make it.


Posy- A small bunch of green stuff and flowers. You can use an oasis to start it off. All you have to do is put hot water in it all the way to the top. The oasis will begin to soak it up. After that, you put some greenery like ferns and long grass. Next, you put flowers on it. You can use any type of flowers. Be creative.


Unusual Vase- You can even use a watering can. You put the flowers in your hands. You can use heaps then cut the stems. If you have a watering can, you put them into the watering can. You can even put one through the part that the water falls out of. If you use a vase, it has to be kinda unusual.


Sand Saucers- You need a saucer, some flowers and obviously, some sand. You put the sand in and start putting flowers in. You can make rings or anything.


Moss gardens-You need moss, stuff like rocks and leaves and even little pebbles. You can make a garden, zoo, park, everything you can think of!


Button hole-You need some tape or tin foil, some green leaves and a flower. If you we're going to give it to a girl, you'd need more flowers. You also need some pins.


A florist call Liz came to our school to show us how to make a few things we might do at the flower day. She said for the posy, you don't need oasis. You can have something like a stone of even some marbles. Oasis just absorbs the hot water you put it in.

She taught us how to make a posy (obviously), button hole and

First I'll tell you about the priciples- reading, writing and 'rithmetic. This term for reading we're following the normal process; read a story and complete an activity, or do a play with your group,.
Did I mention this is the hugest blog EVER!!
For all I know about this term's writing we're following a sort of "random" routine. This means like, a selection of explanations, arguments and narratives, the whole term. For 'rithmetic (or maths) we're improving our basic facts.

After last term's personal tests with Mr Hornby, we have been put in new groups (or other people have been put in our groups), so we have to work with new people.

Extra activities I'm still doing are ODC and kiDZ-i. Learn-Now hasn't started for this term, and I don't know if it will.

At ODC we are just settling in, so we haven't been doing anything extravagant.
For kiDZ-i, this week's episode has been cancelled and has been replaced by th online newspaper, which will be complete on Friday, just like The Web Show.

For P.E. we have some students from UCOL coming to do sports with us as part of their course.
We have to fill out forms saying what kind of sports we like, and our parents have to fill out forms, consenting for us to take part in the program.

For news we'e following the normal schedule of bringing in newspaper articles or telling us about current affairs topics.

I should also mention that I am now officially an amateur graphic designer. I have, and can use, Adobe Illustartor and Photoshop, and recieved a graphics tablet from my confidential source in the holidays.

In other news, aboy called Trae came to our class, from Tapawera school in Nelson. He arrived on Monday.

This part of this blog will be repeated in Russian for all our faithful Russian listeners out there.
In the holidays all I did was drama- productions and rehearsals. Our last performance was on the 9th of October, after which we had a cast party with pizza, lollies and games.
Another cool part of my holidays was when I got a Graphics Tablet from my confidential source. It is a lot easier to use programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator with it.

And apart from sleeping an eating that's pretty much all my holiday.

First I'll tell you about the priciples- reading, writing and 'rithmetic. This term for reading we're following the normal process; read a story and complete an activity, or do a play with your group,.
Did I mention this is the hugest blog EVER!!
For all I know about this term's writing we're following a sort of "random" routine. This means like, a selection of explanations, arguments and narratives, the whole term. For 'rithmetic (or maths) we're improving our basic facts.
Did I mention this is the hugest blog EVER!!
After last term's personal tests with Mr Hornby, we have been put in new groups (or other people have been put in our groups), so we have to work with new people.
Did I mention this is the hugest blog EVER!!
Extra activities I'm still doing are ODC and kiDZ-i. Learn-Now hasn't started for this term, and I don't know if it will.
Did I mention this is the hugest blog EVER!!
At ODC we are just settling in, so we haven't been doing anything extravagant.
For kiDZ-i, this week's episode has been cancelled and has been replaced by th online newspaper, which will be complete on Friday, just like The Web Show.

For P.E. we have some students from UCOL coming to do sports with us as part of their course.
We have to fill out forms saying what kind of sports we like, and our parents have to fill out forms, consenting for us to take part in the program.

For news we'e following the normal schedule of bringing in newspaper articles or telling us about current affairs topics.
Did I mention this is the hugest blog EVER!!
I should also mention that I am now officially an amateur graphic designer. I have, and can use, Adobe Illustartor and Photoshop, and recieved a graphics tablet from my confidential source in the holidays.

In other news, aboy called Trae came to our class, from Tapawera school in Nelson. He arrived on Monday.

This part of this blog will be repeated in Russian for all our faithful Russian listeners out there.
In the holidays all I did was drama- productions and rehearsals. Our last performance was on the 9th of October, after which we had a cast party with pizza, lollies and games.
Another cool part of my holidays was when I got a Graphics Tablet from my confidential source. It is a lot easier to use programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator with it.

And apart from sleeping an eating that's pretty much all my holiday.

hi guys we are just waiting for the plane home now we are leaving at 11.45 pm i will be back in new Zealand by about lunchtime tomorrow (new Zealand time) I didn't end up sneaking into a casino but i got a black eye in the wave pool there.me and dad went to Criss angle BELIEVE for Curtis olay.In Canada we had a HUGE waterpark in the hotel in new york i was sick but i did manage to go up the empire state building.In las Angeles we went to Disneyland and universal studios guess what they are bringing out pirates of the Caribbean 4.I will be back at school on Friday.

It's the first week of term 4 and everything is back to normal. The maths has changed a little and now we just have one box filled with new and old independent games, our maths groups haven't changed and it's the same with reading. We have a new boy in class his name is Trae. He is a year 5 like me and he is settling in well. on Tuesday an artist teacher came in and taught us how to draw a pukeko. Some people did it really well but my one wasn't that good. Kahikatea got the picture drawn bythe artist teacher.

It's the first week of Term 4. Since it's term 4 now, it's sunhat term.Even though it's not really sunny. We don't have swimming until week 2. Everybody is back to normal with the Maths, the homework and the Writing. For the start of the term, we are just doing addition and subtraction for Maths. The independent math activities, we only have to go to one box because when there was three boxes, it caused utter chaos. The activities got all missing and the equipment got all mixed up and so did the activities. So, this term, we're having the activities all in one box. On Tuesday, we did a test of maths that are the same as the ones in our homework. It only had addition and subtraction. Mr Hornby told some strategies. Soon, there is going to be a Math-athon. It's going to be like a spelling bee only the Maths version of it. Although, it's only for the best math kids. I think we're in the same math groups as last term. For writing, we're doing recounts. Recounts are articles about something that has happened. Like a narrative, we use an orientation at the start with the who, the where and the when. The what comes last. Obviously, you should use a title at the very start. After the orientation, we start doing what happened. With the middle part, you use past tense words. Like 'said'. Finally, we put what we liked or who we would recommend this to. We also did a draft in our writing book about the goals we should achieve. When we finished, we had to do them on a piece of paper. We had to make it that it filled the whole page. To me, it was probably easier landscape. Some people did it portrait and Mr Hornby told us we could do it either landscape or portrait. We were also asked to add some colour. Just to make the presentation right. The Jump Jam system is where Kahakitea are doing Tuesday, Kauri are doing Wednesday and Kowhai are doing Thursday. My class decided to do songs that the school already knows and ones that you don't just stand around. We also go left first when we go on Jump Jam. If you go right on lead, then the rest of the school are going left.
On Monday, a new kid called Trae came into our classroom. He is now a new pupil of our class. He is also a year 5.
On Tuesday there was an artist teacher who taught Kowhai, Kauri and Kahakitea to draw a pukeko. I liked it because I am good at drawing. I can do better drawings at home, though. So, we had an early lunch. We're doing reading as normal though. With the plays and the 9 letter word. Mr Hornby says you should find the little words first. Eventually, you'll find the big word. One of the most biggest way everyone finds out about the 9 letter word is when someone gets it and tells their friend or they tell everyone a little clue then everyone just finds out. One of the main thing that counts about a nine letter word is obviously finding the 9 letter word. Another main thing is that you find all the little words as well.
Handwriting is basically the same too. We either do the writing off the blackboard or we get a handwriting card and do it off there. Some people in the class can do linking. Linking is only for professional handwriting and want to kick it up a no ch. The three main things to do in handwriting is Slope,Tidiness and on the line.
For news, we just do the normal stuff. Either about the holidays or anything that has happened. I normally just take a newspaper part for the news. Most children talk about what they've done in the holidays or just recently. Annaliese showed a painting of a horse and it was AWESOME! I'm better at shading art and 3D art. It'll be a while until I can master painting art.
Our values this term are Honesty and Compassion. Honesty is telling the truth. About something that you could have done. If you tell the truth, you could at least get it over with. If you lie, you have something that you have to keep a secret and you cannot hold lies in forever.
Compassion is being nice to others. And caring for others.

building on FIRE!!! we just made it out of town before

In the first week of holidays Viki (Alex's mum) came to pick me up from my house to take me to the beach.When we got there we made a hut in the forest.It was made out of flowers and lots of Branch's.When we had finished it was tea time so we had to go back.For tea we had chicken nuggets and fries.The next day around lunch time Alex and I went down to the beach.We went to the light house and almost got blowen over. After we had finished we went for a walk along the beach and collected lots of pretty shells.One the next day went came back into Masterton and went to the movie theatre.We went to watch Diary of a wimpy kid.I had alot of fun at Alex's beach house!

...In week two...
In the second week I went down to wellington to my auntys.We went down to the beach and ran into the big waves coming staight for us.After that we went to get some lunch.We had some fish and chips.I had a hotdog!! We went to eat our lunch at lyall bay school.When we had finished our lunch My sister, My Uncle, My aunty and I all went to play a game of tag.Then we started to make up a game called coures.We had to make up a coures and the other people had to copy what they did.

The next day I had my friend around.We set the tent up and made a hut in it.That night when we were sleeping in the tent there was a spooky scream!

And that was my fun holidays!!

I had motocross in the weekend.My dad broke his hand.The bone is cooled the boxer splint.He has it in a cast now.But I got 2/3/3 .We had to wait for 3 hours.Then I watch White chicks that was realy funny.Then I went to bed.

hi im thomas last night i watched 2 fast 2 freouse it was about thes two guys that had to race to win cars.theywon two mustangsone blue one orange.In the weekendmy brother brought his x -box 360 from his moms. It's been hot and cold today it was cold maybe a little bit to cold in the holidays I wen't to smiggle and bought heaps of stuff like highlighters pink yellow blue and green they are fluro and also today me kayla and taylor played swapsies with our smiggle stuff ive got not much stuff but we played swapsies so that matters also in the holidays I saw my cousins fliss she brung her dog violet shes very big and she jumps on you when you go near her but shes alright she dosn't bite and my second cousins charlotte and jess they are very naughty at times but I have alot of fun with them also my cousin darian came over he's the same age as me I really like playing with him because he is really nice and he dosn't fight by madison

Man it has been cold in the holidays I moved house to 37 Iorns st masterton and it is very cold. I got new clothes including skinny jeans and a top like dress it is pretty. I went on facebook quite alot and tried to sketch my photos and also taged some as well my mum unpacked the photo album box and found my baby photos and some of her photos when she was a kid and also some marching photos to with jade in totora's mum carey and one of her friends on facebook tammy she found a photo of her and tammy and she commented on it and wrote just for u tammy. I also went to my auntys house and went over to the padok to see my jersey from 2 years ago and it wasn't mine. My cousin won tickets to cats and dogs revenge of kitty galore in 3D I dont know if I am seeing it in 3D though she got the ticket for 3 people and she is taking her friend kelsi and me.we are going to seee it in the weekend and i cant wait it looks really funny and so dose diary of a wimpy kid I really want to see that.Vampire suck look funny but it also looks like a remake of twilight.

I watched a movie called mary and max and it was all about writing letters about problems and chocolate. The little girl mary had to go to work with her mum and her mum told her that she borrows stuff when they leave her mums work mary rips part of a phone book out. then she starts writing to a man named max horiwitz and he writes back about an old lady named IVY she is very blind but makes max a really good soup for him.
We have a new kid in the class and he dose not talk much.
For news it was just normal ethan s and I talked about something in the news paper and annaliese brought a painting of a horse it was AWSOME!!!
I am trying to beat callum on the blog so I am writing a long one.
In week 4 there is a math-athon so we are doing heaps of maths tests and we are getting timed for it to.

we had to fill out a form of what we know already and take one home for our parents.

We went to the warehouse and were alould to buy something for $10 me and my sister got mushabellys I got a racoon and she got a walrus Cruz was aloud $20
and he got eight cars Bailey got a rubber mum then when we went back we got savannah some new shoes.

In reading at school I have been doing pocket reads this is one of them.

Hi!The holidays were awesome!we had 2 weeks off,and I got to visit my Grandparents over in Feiding.My Uncle has gone to Christchurch and he said he has only felt one Earthquake,and it wasn't too major.In the holidays I had Cassie over for the night and she had to go at 10:am to catch a train ride to Upper hutt.I got invited to come on the train ride,so I came with Cassie,Olivia, Sophie,Crystie and Deane.We had a great time and we had lunch at the Mall.Cocoa my Guinea-pig is pregnant (again!!!)and we think that she will have twins (again!!!)That is good though because we have lost 2 guinea-pigs so that will make 5 again!I wasn't really looking forward to school but at least I get to see my friends again.I had a lot of fun in the holidays.

WOW the term went fast
In the holidays it is my granddad's birthday its his 80Th birthday and where having heaps of people coming and I have to learn happy birthday on the guitar and on the first Monday of the holidays my favorite cuisine is coming she is called gemma we have heaps of fun with her she is staying for 11 days and we made up a rule that we are not aloud to call each other until Tuesday but its really tempting to pick up the phone and call her.
My Sister and I cant wait till she comes because we will set up the tent to sleep in and we've done it before and its SSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOO fun.
this time we might make a campfire and make some damper in it but its the first time and it sounds yuck but over all this holidays is going to be great

WOW the term went fast!!
In the holidays I hope we are going to Tapuo.If we do we will go to the hot pools and visit the geezers.We will also be staying in a 5star hotel.It will have a pool and a spa pool.
In the next week of holidays me and all my friends will be getting together and going to the movies and watching a good movie.After that my cousins and my family are going to get together and go out for lunch then my cousin Rebeeca will be able to saty the night by herself.

A couple of days ago there was a big earthquake in chrstchurch.No people were killed but one died of a heart attack after it had happened.There has been about over 200 after shocks.
In invercagill there has been a big snow storm.It has caused a stadium roof to collapse.It fell 15 metres under snow.

Hello everyone.This week is the last week of the term!On Friday we are going to the hall to reflect on the term,class by class.In the holidays my family are going to Fielding to see my grandparents.I think I think I am also going to Napier at some stage.My guinea pig is going to give birth to some babies in the holidays,too.I can't wait for the holidays to come.This year is going so quickly.I hadn't got much more to say.I can't think of anything else that I haven't said yet.Oh wait,I just remembered I am going to go say goodbye to my Uncle because he lives with my grandparents and he's going to Christchurch in the holidays to stay at his mates.My other Uncle lives in Ashburton,but he said the only damage is in the town square.My Uncle booked to go to Christchurch before the earthquake hit.

Wow its almost the end of the term. Just three more sleeps to go and then its the holidays.
On the weekend there was a huge storm. The wind blew down trees everywhere and the power would keep turning off and on. The storm was so big that when i went to g for a walk outside, it would almost blew me over. In the holidays i am going up to my Poppy's In Waipukurau to spend time with him. We are ment to be going up to napier to go to lazer-force and then go to my poppy's friend's house. her name is Maggy. she is a good cook. Last time we went to her house we had a pavalova in a cup for pudding. well lets get back to the story at school. on wednesday we are going to another concert at lakeview school. This term has been rather busy.We have had our school production The River.I was the kiwi.We have also had boring normal days full of dreary work.At One Day Centre we have had our sharing evening.My project was about Enid Blyton and why her books were banned,and I dressed up as the old Saucepan Man,a character from.

This term has been really cool. Mr Hornby has been a good teacher. We had a production so some of the topics we did was Writing and Reading. We also did some art. We didn't do some topics like Maths. We didn't really do Math at all. Our production had lots of songs. Pearl's Mum did a backdrop for our production. It was awesome. She is a really good artist. This is the last week of the Term. On Monday, Mrs Slight taught us. We are back in to the normal topics. Like Maths. Some children are going to other places in the world in the holidays.

In the weekend, the wind was blowing. We had a power cut for a while. It flickered two times and then went out for a while. I spent most of my time during the power cut walking around the house and drawing. I started to try writing left handed. I had to use a torch to see what I was writing. Then, the power came back on. The power started working, but then it flickered a third time then stayed on for the rest of the night. During the power cut, a fire engine zoomed past our house.

In the Holidays, I am just going to do what I usually do in the weekend. I am going to watch 'The Nightmare before Christmas.'
I like watching it because there is lots of singing in it. I know most of songs of the by heart because I have watched it lots of times. I don't even need the music to sing half of them. If I had do to a singing competition, I would use one of the songs from that. I am also going to do lots of drawing. I am going to try and write left handed. It's kind of hard, but i'll eventually get the hang of it. Then, I will try to draw left handed. Finally, I am going to try and make a perfect picture left handed
Other than that, i'm not really going to do much in the Holidays.

In the holidays am going to go to the beach and i am going fishing as wall.We are going to wockertocey and i am going to play on the PS2 and i am going to play a car game and my favorite car is a Ka.

In the holidays I am moving . On Thursday dad and bailey are going to stay at the new house and Mum,Cruz,Savannah and I are on mattresses at the old house. On Friday we are all going to be at the new house. Tomorrow Mum and Dad are going to move the shed to the new house on Friday all the big things are going into the new house like fish tank,TV, draws,maybe the computer,freezer, and fridge on Friday all the small things will be moved and we will be in the new house.


After 3 days at the new house we will be having my dads nephews Tarshey and Rico they will stay for a night.


In the weekend I stayed at Sophies house the rain made the the toilet bubble and it flooded there back yard in the moning we played in the water there river had flodded and there horse was in water there cows were stuck on a little island were the river was. We went in there flodded area and found chicken eggs in the dog kennal

As you might have seen in the news, there is a storm the size of Australia hovering over New Zealand.
In my opinion, I think that Australia shouldn't have been discovered because then we wouldn't have an Australia-size storm hovering over us (just tricking!)

Hi! Solway Primary School has finished their production. That was really hard to do! Wow it's almost the end of term and I am so excited about the holidays.
The school production (the River) went spectacular.In the production I was a ferret.I thought I acted very well on stage.Everyone had a great time.We did all three shows in one piece!We had to alot of practises to get it just perfect.
On the 14th of september the taraua team went to MIS to watch the concert.It was amzing! I liked the micheal jackson dances and moves.That was cool.I also really liked the wearable arts. My favourite wearble art was the rubbish bag girl.
In the holidays my family and I are hopefully going to taupo for a week.We will go to the hot pools and I 'm aloud to take one friend with me.
Next term it will be really fun and I will have a great term with Mr Hornby learning together.

Wow!!! It is finaly week 9 and nearly the end of the term. The school production went very well.
I got some new lines and practiced them with Mrs. Marshal. We did three shows and that was it.
For all that practice that was worth it. On tuesdaqy we went down to M.I.S to see their school
Consert. The show started around about 12:30 and then finnished at 1:55.
yesterday it was my birthday and I turned 11. I had a fun day yesterday at school because everyone was nice to me. Maureen got me a mini moro bar and a packet of blue bird chippies.
Next term It is going to be fun. This term is been very fun and I hope next term will too.
Mabe next term will be as fun id s this one.
As a year 6 I have a job at the school as a peer mediator. I go around the school solving problems
if any children have any! I work alot of other childern aswell. every friday we have a meeting
to see if we can improve on anything or to tell Mrs. Marshal who dissrespect's us in any way.
I think this has been the best year I had at solway and when I leave I will miss it.

The production is finally over. The DVD is almost ready. Term 3 has 2 weeks left.

Everything is going well.

I have finished my One Day Centre Sharing Evening project and the evening is tonight.

Production, Production, Production!

Hi Everyone.

As you can see in the title production pressure is rising!! The performances are this Wednesday and Thursday!
This Monday we went to St Matthews hall to have a technical rehearsal, to get to know the place before the dress rehearsal on Tuesday. I will have to miss out on 2 hours at ODC to go to it.

This term is going fast. We get the rest the term without homework!
The Production is coming up and we have to practice and practice! We are getting feedback from the teachers and even the Principal so that helps us alot. We're not doing Jump Jam because we have to practice for the production. In the production, i'm a bird that flies around and hides. There are birds that talk and one particular bird that does funny parts. The funny bird is Kiwi. She does this funny stride.
We are still working hard in normal subjects. We mostly only have time for reading because the production practice starts at 9:10 am. There are songs and a taniwha! Our Production is called The River.
For art we did a taniwha. Some of us used our hot and cold colours like in Picasso art.
Last Friday we had daffodil day. The daffodil is still under our shade-sail

Hi everyone!I am doing a lot of work this week,frantically running around at home to finish off my costume.If you have forgotten,I am Keruru/Wood pigeon.I am trying to finish painting my mask,as it is made out of paper mache.We are doing a lot of narratives this term-oh,I forgot to tell you today is 1st of September,which means today is the first day of spring.Also,today I am going to a Science Road-show.My Friends went yesterday,so I'm basically the only one who is not going to go with a friend.My Dad is going to transport me to Grey town,along with three others.The Science Road-show is in Grey town.I have learnt all my lines from the script for the production.I have a lot of feathers,and we are collecting tail feathers,which have to be long.So far we only have three or four tail feathers.

WHEW It's hot the sun is shining like it would in a desert on a warm summers morning. And whats that coming up over that hill the river the birds are all singing and the ferrets, cats, stoats and rats dogs and weasels to that is about the production THE RIVER .

The taniwha in the production on daffodil day drew the big daffodil under the shade sail where we put our money. My teacher Mr Hornby said we get a fake daffodil if we brought $2 and I did my friend Sophie thougt he ment put $2 on the daffodil so she got one to but it broke at lunchtime.

After hockey practise I went to Sophie's house to stay the night we rode on her horse cheeko and it was my first time riding on a horse when her sister Bailey was on the horse there nana and grandad turned up Sophie and I were climbing a tree and I couldnt climb it and I got stuck sophie found a swing and went on it.

We went in a little forest thing and got some carrots for her horse we had to brush him and comb him to get all the mud off someone pulled over to the side of the road and started patting her cows.

In the morning we were late for hockey because she just wouldnt get dressed we played about 10 mins of the first half.

After we rode her horse we played styin studio and made a french person.

Term Pressure Building!!! Callum

Hi Everyone,
I hope that in my last blog you realised I was not on holiday in Tanzania! Otherwise it would be really stressful coming from a relaxing holiday into a school production, a drama club production and preparations for our ODC sharing evening!

First I'll explain about the productions.
Our school production, The River (as you have probably seen in every other blog) is quite big, as everyone in the school(200 pupils), are taking part somehow.I am the "Professor Wise" who is an owl. I play a double act with Jordan who is Morepork. The director, Mr Simons says its supposed to be like "Morecambe and Wise"!The point of our act is to explain "turbo-surfing" to the humans. The thing I don't like, though, is the fact that because we are using the Saint Matthews Collegiate Hall, we don't get to use lighting. Extremely Unprofessional!

The drama club I am part of is Harlequin Theatre. They have a range of people from 7 years old. The production Harlequin Juniour( the specific division of the club I am part of) are doing, is called "Toad of Toad Hall", based on the "Wind in the Willows" book by Kenneth Grahame. In it I am the Chief Ferret. Chief Ferret is a mean character, and a minion to the even more evil, Chief Weasel. This production has professional lighting, sound, stage and props.

The ODC sharing evening is an annual non-optional activity. Each student must find their passion then present a study on it to share with the community in week 10 at the Lakeview school hall. My study is on Graphic Design.

In the weekend I had asoccer game at matt juro park.My team was solway squarpeins my team woneten,nill.When I got home I took off my soccer bots and lide down and went too sleep.when I woak up my frend David came over and we plad kicks and when I kickt the ball it flue over the fence because it was bounce it hapind over ten times it was very fun.

My weekend was a great success i went to my grandpas memorial and was in the paper for it and then we went to o BBQ at bread craft and after that my mate Mitch came round for the night we stayed up to 10:00pm and we had heaps of fun the next morning we watched the rugby and the all blacks won 29-22 then we went out for brunch after that me and Mitch went to dick smith and then we went to his house and went for a walk i walked and Mitch rode a bike.after we went back to my house for a while then we helped Mitch's dad do the housework while watching TV for dinner we had pizza hut while watching ninja warrior.

This term we are doing our whole school production, The River. I have the part of Professor Owl, who has the longest speech in the play, and my friend Jordan is the Owl's assistant. There are heaps of songs in the play that I also have to memorise. I think the pressure of that is equivalent to sweltering African heat! The production is about a group of children who, when the river stops running, journey upstream to find out why. Come to the production in Week 8 at St Matthews hall to find out more!!!!!!!

Another exciting event this term is our One Day Centre sharing evening. I have to present a display board all about Graphic Design. I have started researching to prepare for the night.

In the weekend on Saturday I went to watch my sister play hockey they won 5- 2 against Wainuaru.
The netball group from Solway primary also won against Lakeview magic 15-13 Kayla got 10 goals and Charlotte got 5 goals.

On Sunday my Nana and grandad came for tea we had chocolate cake and jelly for pudding.

Just before tea we were playing a mini game of ball tag i was wearing my roller skates
Tasman sat on the couch and so did grandad Bailey was lucky she was just running away from the ball when Tasman tried to get me she through the ball through the hole in the wall and it landed in the kitchen when grandad through the hole to.


At school we are learning to juggle and write narratives one of the ones I wrote was six pages long.

In the weekend I went to play netball! We won 15-13 and we played Lakeveiw magic.I scored 5 goals and my mate Kayla scored 10.After we finished my friend Alana banana came over to say hello and we played on the court for a little while.

After netball Me and my dad went to pick up Micheal (dad's athlete). Next we all made a sausage sizzle for everyone.

Soon it was time to go to the wicol gym to do dad's training.At training me and my sister went on the crash pads and jumped off the spectators are which is about 3m high. When it was finished I played a bit of scocer with my dad and my sister

On Sunday at 4 o'clock I went for a swim at the end we did some river run team relays like:
Holding hands all the way round
Swim underwater all the way
biggest splash
and longest dive

Straight after swimming we all went to the driving range for tea.I had a burger and some salty chips. For desret we had some brownie.

In the weekend I played hockey and we won 5-2 we played wainuoru. I scored 3 goals my friend Zara got 1 the other team put the ball in our there goal thinking it wouldn't count but it did. the coach of the other team always asked my dad if it counted or not. The other team only got 2 goals. Jean played for the second half on the other team and I always got the ball off her.
After hockey we went to the carterton park across the road from New world I went in the mouse holes and ran around I played with a girl named Megan we went in the bowl and on the flying fox. After the mouse holes mum asked if I could go on the round swing with Savannah but Bailey and Cruz ended up going on to. in the bowl Cruz couldn't get up because he forgot to take of his gum boots.
After the park we went to my Aunty's and dad got invited to a ball we got ready and went back to aunty Joannes my aunty Tegan and uncle Justin were going to a ball Tegan looked pretty her date Dylan turned up and had a flower for her she put it on her wrist and got photos one of the photos looked like they were going to kiss my dad was being stupid in some photos. my uncle and aunty got some photos two my uncle Justin was drinking in between the photos.

At home I did my letters to treves sport and sports arena.After that we had tea and pudding. I made a 6 minuit chocolate cake.

On the 17th the my Nana from Australia is coming into the country she is going to waikanie first and then she wiil go on the train to masterton she will take us to cob and co.
