Hello I am Jasmine again.

This week we are having a flower day. We're having it on Friday 5th November. A flower day is when you make at least three diferent things. They are:


Vegetable Creation-You get some vegetables and some picks. You basicly use the vegetables and the picks to make something. You can make whatever you like, as along as you have the stuff to make it.


Posy- A small bunch of green stuff and flowers. You can use an oasis to start it off. All you have to do is put hot water in it all the way to the top. The oasis will begin to soak it up. After that, you put some greenery like ferns and long grass. Next, you put flowers on it. You can use any type of flowers. Be creative.


Unusual Vase- You can even use a watering can. You put the flowers in your hands. You can use heaps then cut the stems. If you have a watering can, you put them into the watering can. You can even put one through the part that the water falls out of. If you use a vase, it has to be kinda unusual.


Sand Saucers- You need a saucer, some flowers and obviously, some sand. You put the sand in and start putting flowers in. You can make rings or anything.


Moss gardens-You need moss, stuff like rocks and leaves and even little pebbles. You can make a garden, zoo, park, everything you can think of!


Button hole-You need some tape or tin foil, some green leaves and a flower. If you we're going to give it to a girl, you'd need more flowers. You also need some pins.


A florist call Liz came to our school to show us how to make a few things we might do at the flower day. She said for the posy, you don't need oasis. You can have something like a stone of even some marbles. Oasis just absorbs the hot water you put it in.
